When to get medical help

You should ask for immediate medical assistance if you have any of the following symptoms, which may indicate your body is not getting enough oxygen:
  • Difficulty in breathing
  • Persistent pressure or pain in the chest
  • Newly feeling confused or being difficult to arouse
  • Your lips or face appear bluish

Other similar symptoms

These are not the typical symptoms of coronavirus and are more likely to mean you have a cold or the common flu:
  • Sneezing
  • A runny nose
  • Sore throat
  • Coughing up phlegm
